CEDIES (Centre de Documentation et d’Information sur l’Enseignement Supérieur) is located within the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research and is responsible for providing information and advice on higher education and professions in Luxembourg and internationally. CEDIES also administers the provision of financial aid from the State related to higher education.

CEDIES plays an important role in supporting the third level education for students in the Luxembourg catchment. It has a particular focus on providing information on higher level education in the countries most commonly of interest.

In the year 2012/2013 CEDIES organised the provision of financial support to more than 15,500 students totalling just under €100 million in grants and just over €102 million in loans.
