The Ireland-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ILCC) launched its second annual Innovation Contest on 4 July at ICT Spring to promote the concepts of innovation, entrepreneurship and pitching (business ideas).

We are delighted to announce that the ILCC Innovation Contest pitching event will be held within the Founders in a Castle conference on Friday 17 October 2014 which takes place at MUDAM in Luxembourg-Kirchberg and also later at the Chateau de Septfontaines in Luxembourg-Rollingergrund. Pitching begins at 16:30 at MUDAM. This collaboration is incredibly exciting as the event is attracting top names from the venture capitalist and business angel world together with a host of innovative start-ups for a conference, networking and a great party afterwards! The ILCC Innovation Contest will be in a Dragon’s Den style pitching format. The panel of “Dragons” will comprise renowned entrepreneurs and those with market expertise nominated by sponsors.

This year, the ILCC has been appointed a Feeder Partner by Web Summit, Europe’s largest web and start up conference, (previously known as The Dublin Web Summit) which takes place in early November, with the overall winner of the 2014 ILCC Innovation Contest receiving a direct route into the quarter-finals of PITCH, skipping the ultra-competitive application and pre-screen stage.
